Why We Do What We Do
The driving force behind MATTERS is for a bigger cause – to work to protect ‘Our Home’ and to encourage our community to slow down, appreciate, and live in harmony with mother nature.
MATTERS products combine ethical sourcing, sustainability, and durability for less environmental impact. They are produced efficiently, using minimal amounts of virgin raw materials, water, and energy.
Our collections are of recycled, upcycled, organic, or low-impact origin. Each piece is designed to be exceptional, made to last, and to stand the test of time.

100% Recycled
& No Dyeing
Recycling and upcycling are key factors in our sustainable solution. At MATTERS, we strive to embrace circular fashion.
Closing the Loop Collection is committed to reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials and using certified recycled materials to lessen CO2 emission, water usage, energy, and chemicals as we abstain from the dyeing process.
We strive to encourage our community of shoppers to embrace a circular economy to advance a step closer to a zero-waste lifestyle.
Organic & Ecologically Grown Fiber
In this collection, we focus on using plant-based natural fibers that are ecologically grown as they are more environmentally friendly and ethical than synthetic fabrics.
While their production requires less water and energy and are processed with less or no harmful chemicals, natural fibers are also known for their improved comfort, softness, durability, and are fully biodegradable.
Most plant-based fibers like linen and cotton are also very durable and can be washed and worn countless times.
Everything deserves
a second chance, even fabrics.
Deadstock fabrics are essentially fashion industry leftovers — surplus from a fashion brand or textile mill's production process due to overproduction, quality issues, or minor flaws.
In this collection, MATTERS have decided to give these deadstock a new life; materials otherwise would have ended up in landfills or burnt.
We search and meticulously create limited pieces out of remaining qualified deadstock fabrics. If you get a chance to own one, you know it’s exceptional and exclusive!
